Halloween Cupcakes

I firmly believe Mama's (husbands, pet parents, kids, grandparents, aunts, uncles, okay you get the idea) deserve cupcakes!  What better reason than Halloween preparation to make a little something good to eat!

Rainy Autumn Days

We are having our first signs of fall.  After a long drought and unbearable heat, we received a break.  (My crepe myrtles were blooming in October).  A week of rain and cooler temperatures is starting to wake autumn up.  This is just a little peak at the colors mother nature is about to bestow on us.

Pumpkin Patch

My pumpkin patch grew and grew last night.  I think these are the cutest, easiest way to give my little ghosts and goblins their treats.  All it takes is crepe paper, floral tape and just a little bit of time. 

Welcome

Well, today I got up and put my big girl panties on!  I decided to stop playing with font, spacing and typelists long enough to keep my promise.  I am writing my first blog post.  Everything has a beginning and this is my blog beginning.  I have to say welcome and enjoy.  I may not always be entertaining or helpful (I hope to be though).  The picture is of the first quilt I made.  It is fitting that it goes with my first post.  I hope you continue to drop by.
