I know that everyone is jealous of "The B Man" and wanting their very own Monkee from MonkeeMaker! Well, now is the time to get one. Kerry is having a raffle to help a most precious, little sick girl raise money! You can't go wrong, trying to win a goodie and help someone! There are lots of great items waiting to be won, go check it out!!
Here is a gratuitous shot of Bentley, just to get you in the monkee wanting mood. He is watching his favorite show Curious George. This is his favorite episode 00 Monkey/Spy Monkey!
My family is feeling very fortunate, because this little illness is now laryngitis and with an earache, ugh! Although they deny it, I think they like it when I can't talk. I knew it would return when I bragged that I was over it.
I did finally give my mum the last of her birthday goodies. I think I am caught up now. Her birthday was in November but better late than never right?
Okay, it is probably a painting only a mother could love, but I am trying! I am just glad I am not the one standing beside that wobbly lighthouse!
Last but not least, mumistitches is having a giveaway! She just finished writing her very first pattern and is listing it on her ETSY shop! Although, I really do not want any competition, I think this is awesome and wanted to share! Her Coco is just one of the cutest critters ever!!!

Hi Leigh,
Thanks so much for taking part and the link to my raffle :)
Your painting and the cakes in the previous post are all gorgeous .... such a cruel cruel joke on your hubby's cake though. I love it!

WOW, WOW, WOW! You can REALLY paint BEAUTIFULLY! I can't draw a straight LINE! That's a marvelous gift and I know your mom LOVES it! I'm super impressed, Leigh! Are you self-taught? Darn! I WOULD donate to that lil' girl's fund but I don't do Paypal or credit. I think I'll ask her if I can send a money order or something. And you're right! LOVE Coco! So cute! But don't tell Bentley - can't have him getting jealous 'cause I still love him bestest!

Hi Leigh, I hope you feel better soon. I believe that if I am so sick that I can't talk I am probably too sick to do housework too and then my family gets to do it while I sit on the couch with a hot cup of tea and every once in a while grimace and clutch my throat just os they know I am really in pain:>) Try it ,it works!

Your painting is really pretty! I have always wanted to try my hand at that. I think you have a great eye for it. I'm sure your mom loves her birthday gift not only because it's so lovely but because you did it just for her!
