but it is coming soon. This is a pouty post to explain where I will be for just a few days! My Boo is turing 15 tomorrow! Someone just shoot me now! I did not realize can you say TOTAL denial what all was going to take place over the next couple of days, so I will be away from blogland for a short bit again!
Look! This is what happened at my house, to my baby this week!!! Okay, he took this way better than I did. Oh alright, he was pretty excited!
Did I mention that he discovered aftershave too! Oh, poor me!
Wow, 15! When I think about that, I must have been what 14 when I had him, teehee! Yep, I am going with and sticking to that story!
I survived my doctor appointments. Now, it is just sitting and waiting for some kind soul to read, look at, laugh over and spill coffee on my tests and send me the results!
Well, I have to tell you that I have felt three earthquakes over the past week! I have never been in one so that was an experience! We are about 200 miles from the epicenter. No damage just moved pictures and a shock to the heart! I wish I had a video of us, did I mention that Leigh and Stoic do not go together? Have you seen the cards with the animals with huge eyes? I know now they were shaking in an earthquake when those photos were taken! (Laura and Janice...boy do I have a story for you, teehee!)
I am normally a person that wants time to slow down, but I sure wish I had a life remote control with a fast forward button for this week!
Thank you all for checking on me, for those that I owe an email to, I will be sending it out tonight!
Love ya'll!!!

Ah yes .... doesn't it just make you feel old when you realise how grown up they're getting? I hope he has a great birthday, with not too many shaving nicks!
They say things come in threes, so hopefully no more earthquakes for you!
:)

Leigh,
I know just how you feel, where did the time go between diapers and shaving? Enjoy every day as it goes even faster from here! I can't believe earthquakes? I've never felt one and would be totally unnerved! Can't wait to hear the story! I also will be away for a few days and will post on my award in a few days from now! Thanks so very much for thinking of me! You are a sweetie! Hug galore! Jan

Hi leigh,
thanks for your sweet comments on my blog.
you feel old? my eldest is 18 and gone off to uni! Dd is 16 in a few weeks and monster was 12 last week.
The shaving thing is funny. Mind you sam was 17 before he shaved his fluff. He has a few bits on his chin Like Shaggy from Scooby Doo!!!
Aftershave we know all about from monster. he has this fugg around him like Liness in Charlie Brown except it smells good!!!
Earthquakes are quite scary arnt they? We've had a few minor ones over the years, same as your, pictures adn light fittings shaking. I'd hate to be in a real one.
Glad you like the PG tips Monkey!!

LOL Leigh--I had to laugh! Having a 16 year old son--I remember (just a short time ago) when he informed me that he would be needing a razor, cream, and aftershave! lol They grow so quickly! You know that fast forward button you want--make mine a fast reverse please!
Smiles, Karen

Wow! You have a man on your hands now, Leigh! My oldest just turned 13. I think his voice is starting to change. I will soon have my own Peter Brady at home.
Hugs,
Karen

Glad your doctor's appointments went ok Leigh - and I hope the results are good - why do they always have to take sooo long?!
You really can't be old enough to have a child who shaves! I hope he has a great birthday and that you all have a lovely weekend.
xxxx
p.s. I have such a picture in my mind of your face when the earth shook!!! :)

EEEEEEKS! Doctors and shave cream and earthquakes - OH, MY! Ooooops - wrong combo! Still, those DEFINITELY beat out lions, tigers, & bears! It's sooooo odd to look up & realize our 'little ones' are NOT little anymore. My daughter turned 37 last month. My oldest grandchild is 19. I am ANCIENT. The ONLY thing older than ME is DIRT. I'll be smiling for you and your family this weekend! Have a WONDERFUL time! You KNOW I love you!

Glad you got through your doctors appointments, hope you receive the results soon and that it is good news.
Eeek earthquakes, we had one here in February!!! An earthquake in the UK, it was really weird, I have never felt one before ~ it was such a surreal experience!
Lots of love

Dear Risotto-Buddy! ;) Finally I find the time to visit you.
Happy-Birthday to your big baby!
Although mine are still tiny I somehow know how you feel and something tells me that they will be 15 faster than I can say "who was that girl calling you?"
So I hope you had a nice time and will be back in blogland soon!

I see it doesn't get any easier - I would have a hard time with shaving. Happy Birthday to the new young man!
