If You Think You Are Having A Bad Day....

think about his.  Late last night, I wrapped our gifts for other people and put them under the tree.  This was after my youngest had fallen asleep.  I bet you know where I am going with this.... Yes, he got up today and thought Santa had visited!  Poor little one!  Just to complete his day, our weather forecast has changed.  What was going to be our first snow is now a flooding rain!

On a happier note....

I machine embroidered these waffle weave towels!  I think they are too cute.  I can't take any credit, as the machine does the work.

My mother and I got lucky and ordered each of us one of these beauties last night!  There are a few left.   I will post photos as soon as they come in!!!

A Little of This and a Little of....

YaYa on her machine embroidered blankie.  Don't you just think House Mouse is the cutest? It is one of my favorite embroidery cards.

We have a little bug so we are not straying too far from the couch.  Just so you do not have the wrong impression, YaYa does not stray too far on a good day either.

Vintage coke Santa's are the cutest.  Very smart of coke to do the retro thing again.  (Thanks to my son for holding off on drinking them until I could take a semi-decent picture.)

Gotta love going to Mom's.  I always load up on the vintage goodies from my family.  These are too wonderful.  I am on a search for the missing shaker now.  Look out ebay!   

A Kidston Kinda Day

I am a huge fan of any and all things by Cath Kidston.  Ironically, I received both her catalog (this is a hint for certain family members, ha ha) and her Dream Home Book in the mail today!

Well, of course new a catty and book require an embroidered tote bag!  Please, excuse the hoop marks.

I love vintage signs and old Singers, a combination of the two is wonderful .  Of course, it was on sale so it had to come live with me.  I can't let you peek inside, just in case a certain someone (with a birthday coming up) has prying eyes.  A picture of the finished product will be available after the big day.

Christmas Balls

I made these with my machine embroidery machine.  You just embroider on clear vinyl, insert them into the glass balls and glue at the top.  Oh, I attempt to not say too many bad words when trying to straighten out the vinyl once inserted.  Yeppers, I am so getting into the mood of the season!!  Please forgive the bad pics, I did not want to wait to take daylight photos.
